How do I delete a device?

Before deleting a device, check whether it is a standalone device or a sub-device of a parental Mesh Box.

Delete a device

Mesh Boxes can have several light devices. Only the basic devices (in this case, the Mesh Box) can be deleted, not the configured luminaires. Accordingly, only select basic devices from the list.

  1. Switch to 'Setup mode'.
  2. Go to the 'Devices' tab.
  3. Select the device you want to delete.
  4. Open the device's contextual menu by clicking the icon in the top-right corner.
  5. If you are connected to the network, click on 'Delete'. The device will be removed from the network and will start to blink. It is now in provisioning mode and can be added again.
  6. If you are not connected to the network, click on 'Forget'. The device will be removed from the app and will no longer be displayed, but you will need to reset the device manually.

If you click 'Forget' on a device that is still working normally when you are not connected to the network, it will be hidden in the app but can still be controlled via sensor devices. Reset the device manually to remove it from the network.

Delete a child device

To remove a device attached to a Mesh Box, you must change the Mesh Box's configuration and remove the device from the port assignment. You can read more about this process here.

Delete all devices of the network

The quickest way to reset all the devices on your network is to delete them one by one via the app until none remain.
