How do I control a light device?

You can control individual lights or entire groups. This guide shows you how to switch lights on and off, adjust brightness, light temperature and colour.

Control a single light

Set-up mode

In setup mode, you will find all individual devices in the 'Devices' menu item. All Mesh Boxes and the configured devices are listed on this page. However, you can also find the individual devices in other areas of the app, for example within groups. Select one of the devices to go to the device details page.

Control mode

There is no 'Devices' menu item in the control mode. Connect the home screen here to navigate to the corresponding room. You will find all subordinate devices within the room. Select one of the devices to open the device details page.

Basic Controls

All lighting devices and groups share the same control view. In the centre of the radial slider you will find the on/off button. Using the radial slider, you can dim the brightness of the device continuously from 0-100 %. Depending on the type of device, you will find buttons under the brightness control to control the light temperature, the light colour and to activate the colour run function.

Saving light values

In the light temperature and colour selection, you have the option of saving the current value as a favourite. To do this, click on the plus symbol below the light temperature or colour slider. This function is helpful if you want to reuse the set value exactly for another individual device or for a group without having to estimate the value.
