Create a Room

After you have given your device a name, each device must first always be assigned to the room in which it is located. You can already choose from a variety of predefined rooms. If the desired room name is not available for selection, please create a new room.

This will not only enable practical control of entire rooms later on, but also significantly facilitates the updating of the device firmware, as one room after the other can be updated from the smartphone/tablet.

Change Room Name or Icon

Go to the app settings and click on “Rooms”. Select the room you want to change. Press the options icon in the top right and tap on “Rename”. Give the room a new name or select a new icon.

Delete Room

A room can only be deleted if it no longer contains any devices. Since each device must be exactly assigned to a room, you must first move all devices from the room into another room. To delete a room: Go to the app settings and click on “Rooms”. Select the room to be deleted. Press the options icon in the top right and tap on “Delete”.

Note: In App Version 2.0 devices currently can't be moved to another room. Delete the device and set it up again. Select the new room during setup.
