A Mesh Box is a Bluetooth Mesh compatible permanent current distribution device, which facilitates the connection of lights, actuators, and potentially sensors. It is designed for installation in furniture and within rooms. There are various versions of the Mesh Box available:

Mesh Boxes with 6 Ports

Mesh box 6 ports 1: Power in 2: Power out 3: Actuator 1-6 4: Sensor port

  • Mesh Box 6-Channel (850.00.042 / 850.00.043): Supports free configuration of up to 6 ports for connecting Mono, Tunable White, RGB, permanent current devices, furniture switches, TV lifts and electric cabinet doors. A total of 6 ports are available, all of which can be individually configured. (Note: Tunable White requires 2 ports, RGB requires 3 ports per channel. Special adapters are sold separately). Additionally, a switch, dimmer or motion detector can be connected to the sensor port (also configurable via the app)
  • Mesh Box 4-Channel Tunable White 2-Wire: Provides 6 physical ports, but only 4 logical ports (the two left and two right ports are connected). 4 Tunable White ports are preconfigured, to which 2-Wire lights can be connected. Via the app, these 4 ports can be reconfigured to Mono.

Mesh box 4 ports 1: Power in 2: Power out 3: Actuator 1-4

  • Mesh Box Eco 4-Channel Mono (850.00.910 / 850.00.920): Supports 4 individually controllable Mono ports.
  • Mesh Box Eco 1-Channel Tunable White (850.00.957/850.00.958): Supports one Tunable White port, but 4 physical connections, all of which are connected.
  • Mesh Box Eco 1-Channel RGB (850.00.959): Supports one RGB port, but 4 physical connections, all of which are connected.
  • Mesh Box Eco 4-Channel Tunable White 2-Wire (850.00.921): Supports 4 individually controllable Tunable White ports for connecting 2-Wire lights.

Mesh Boxes with 2 Ports

Mesh box 2 ports 1: Power in 2: Power out 3: Actuator 1-2

  • Mesh Box 1-Channel Mono: Supports one individually controllable Mono port, though 2 physical connections, which are connected (Available in 2024)
  • Mesh Box 1-Channel Tunable White: Supports one individually controllable Tunable White port, though 2 physical connections, which are connected (Available in 2024)
  • Mesh Box 1-Channel RGB White: Supports one individually controllable RGB port, though 2 physical connections, which are connected (Available in 2024)

Mesh Box functionality

The Mesh Boxes also support the following functions:

  • Switching on/off of configured ports
  • Dimming up/down of configured ports
  • Changing light temperature of configured ports (depending on version)
  • Changing RGB color and saturation of configured ports (depending on version)
  • Supports scenes
  • Supports time control starting from firmware version >=5.0
  • Supports pairing for EnOcean-BLE devices
  • Sensor port support (depending on version)
