4-Channel Interface (Battery)

The battery-operated 4-channel interface is intended for connecting wall switches from other manufacturers. Up to four individually controllable button-knobs can be connected. After installation, the switch behaves analogously to the Häfele Connect wall switch. The following functions are supported by this device:

  • Switch On/Off
  • Dim Up/Down
  • Light temperature up/down
  • RGB colour wheel left/right
  • Scene call-up
  • Primary functions: Press briefly & Hold
  • Secondary functions: Press briefly 2x (double click), Press briefly (double click) and then hold

You can assign the layout of each button individually for both primary and secondary functions via the app. If you opt for the Fast Setup, the following standard assignment will be configured:

  • Button 1 (top left): Press briefly: On, Hold: Dim Up
  • Button 2 (bottom left) Press briefly: Off, Hold: Dim Down
  • Button 3 (top right) Call up preset 1, Hold: Colour temperature up
  • Button 4 (bottom right) Call up preset 2, Hold: Colour temperature down Notes:
  • Only push-buttons are supported, not rocker switches that remain permanently in the pressed position.
  • If your device does not have a reset switch (Hardware Revision 1), you can only reset the device via the app (see “Reset Device” section)
  • Hardware Revision 2 already has a reset button
  • The device goes into deep sleep mode shortly after each button press to save energy. To configure the device via the app, it must be kept awake by continuously pressing a button.
