Update Device Firmware

Regular improvements and new features for your devices are provided via the app. The software of your devices is called Firmware. Your app will notify you if there are devices in your network for which a newer firmware version is available. Simply follow the instructions in the app to update the firmware of your devices. Important: Before updating a device, make sure that you are in the same room where the device was installed. The app usually tries to update all devices in the same room first and notifies you as soon as it is time to switch to the next room.

Manually update device firmware

If the automatic update did not work, you can try updating a device manually. Each device with a reset button supports this function. Proceed as follows:

  • Disconnect the device from the power supply or remove the battery
  • Press and hold down the reset button
  • Connect the device to the power supply or insert a battery while holding down the reset button
  • Release the button. The status LED is now flashing fast
  • Launch the app and switch to setup mode
  • In the app settings, press “Firmware updates”
  • Your device should now appear in the list. Press the list entry to start the update
  • After a successful update, your device is reset to factory settings
