Behavior After Power Outage

When a continuously powered device temporarily loses its power supply, there are three possibilities for what should happen when the device is powered again

  • The device returns to the last state before the power outage (default setting)
  • The device always starts in the off state
  • The device always starts in a defined state

The first two possibilities can be set globally for all devices in the app settings under "Behavior After Power Outage." The default setting can be specified - this means that all devices added in the future will receive this setting. Additionally, the selected state can be transferred to all the devices on the network.

The third option, to set a defined state, can only be set individually for each end device. To do this, go into the desired end device in "Setup Mode" (if it's a mesh box, you have to select the individual light). Set the device to the desired state. Then press the "Options" symbol at the top right and then "Settings". Set "Use Defined State".
